Our Company, established in 1959, has been time and again reckoned for its pioneering endeavours in travel and tourism sectors. While living up to the glorious tradition of service, we have been carefully updating ourselves with all the latest development and automation in the travel and tourism scene. This has contributed immensely to our maintaining the passenger confidence in us and becoming a customer friendly agent.

Kerala Travels believes that Travel agency business is something more than just air travel ticket booking. Value addition in the travel and tourism business has been the main agenda during the past years. In 1997 Kerala Travels pioneered a group of high profile Travel Companies to form a Consortium called Interserve, offering seamless service from any of the member companies, located in the metros and other major cities of India. Our long standing and extensive network of branches in India has given us the experience, expertise, confidence and resources to handle such diverse fields of activities like travel, tourism, education, event management, conferences etc.
Founded and built up on the tenet of valuebased business practices and excellent relationships with clients, we have stayed steadfast on the path.

Innovation has always been  our keyto success  whether in ecology or technology. The selection of Thekkady Tiger Trail, our offering incorporating ecology, tribal culture, wildlife promotion and recreation, as one of ' the best practice papers' on Environment, Culture and Heritage in 1999 by PATA's Office of the Environment & Culture in Monaco is a testimony of this commitment. This project also won for us the National Award for Excellence in Tourism and the State Award for the Most Innovative Tourism Product constituted by the Government of India and Kerala respectively.

When it comes to being of service to our valued customers, we leave nothing to chance - whether be it a discerning or a budget traveler. The guests like Sir Paul McCartney and Mr. Joseph Kennedy have appreciated us for this commitment .

The Company

Kerala Travels was founded in 1959 by the Late. Col. G. V. Raja, of the royal family of Travancore, the Late P.G.C. Pillai and S.V.Pandit, to render professional and reliable travel services throughout Kerala. Kerala Travels always kept abreast of the sea changes in the travel industry, be that the geographic one in the late 70's and 80's or the technological one in the 90's. Realizing the fact that the passenger needs multipoint servicing Kerala Travels entered into a path breaking alliance of Interserve which now enables us to offer travel services throughout India round the clock.

With the "material" in us, we have been the natural choice for many advisory boards, committees, travel agents association etc..

 We have been able to maintain a niche market in this highly competitive industry only because of our long term planning and building up of relationships. Always the forerunner in setting up standards we have been the role model for others to emulate. In addition to the accolades won among the travelling public the excellence awards of all the airlines from time to time stand in testimony of the industry leadership status of ours which is well reckoned all over India and abroad.
